Gospel tracts went out in Toronto! We had a really great interaction with some Filipino men who were speaking Tagalog. We were able to use our translation QR for full understanding of the gospel message, though most of the group spoke English well and even Spanish. I introduced myself with a Living Waters optical illusion tract and the Canadian gospel tract and asked their faith background. They said Roman Catholic. One of the main guys was named Elvis (I got to tell “the King” about the King of Kings!). I took him through the good test (holding ourselves up to the Ten Commandments to bring a knowledge of our sins) and emphasized the importance of Jesus’ atonement and that not all faiths lead to heaven. We broke God’s moral law and Jesus paid the fine in full. Elvis knew it was important for a belief in one God but said we all sin. So I then talked about how it is impossible for us to climb our way up with good works as we are sinners and that we can’t have full assurance of heaven without Jesus who was the only perfect One. Elvis said he hadn’t read the Bible a lot so I gave him a million dollar Gospel of John and said, “Today is the day! It’s more precious than a million dollars.” He really appreciated me doing that and asked what religion I was. I said a Christ follower! My take from that question is he has never seen a Christian share their faith before. We have the greatest message ever, let’s get out there Christian!
