GOSPEL OUTREACH - I was busy upstairs when a Rogers TV sales agent came to our house during the day, then he came back before dinner and then he came back just now. I thought it was my in-laws at the door, so I answered. It was the Rogers TV sales agent. 🙂 When the Lord wants you to do something, He doesn’t let up. I asked Tyson his faith background and he said he was spiritual and was Native. He believed in God because of creation but didn’t know much more. I took him through the good person test and he admitted he had lied and blasphemed God’s name. I told him we all are guilty and headed for hell because of our sins against a holy God for breaking His moral laws. I told Him Jesus paid our fine in full. He said I should be a teacher as he learned a lot from what I said. I said it’s only by God’s grace that I knew anything. Tyson said he had an Aunt who was Christian and I said there’s no doubt she was praying for you to talk to someone about the gospel, what I shared with you today. A motorbike sped by our quiet street. I said, “you don’t want to be hit by that guy and not know where you’re going to go after you die. Check out the money paper (gospel tract) I gave you and turn from your sins and trust Christ. He will save your life.” He thanked me and went his way. GOSPEL OUTREACH - I saw a seed sprout today. I had seen Ricky before (I checked - May 2025 I shared the moral law and gospel with him), he is an Indian young man who has bright hazel eyes. I said to him today, “I’m pretty sure I gave you a gospel message awhile ago, is that right?” He said, “yes I remember you, you gave me the money paper, I read that. I kept thinking I have done so many bad things, I don’t know if God would forgive me.” I told Ricky about the Apostle Paul, how he had murdered Christians and yet God forgave him and used him for good. I didn’t know his background, but decided to talk about karma. I said we can never pay off all our sins and the idea that we get what we deserve for our sins with no hope of ending the cycle was a hopeless state. Jesus provides the opposite of karma, He is perfect and paid for our sins in full, giving us what we don’t deserve, which is grace. Now we can know all our sins can be forgiven and we are forgiven. He can make our wicked hearts new and change our affections, it’s calling being born again (John 3:3). I gave him a World Cup gospel tract and a gospel of John telling him this is a book in the Bible that talks about who Jesus is, the One who paid for all your sins. He shook my hand and thanked me and said he would read it. The next customer in line heard it all too. Please pray for Ricky that he would repent and trust Jesus.
