Natalie, a Greek lady, who was working with us, said she believed in reincarnation. I noticed the monkey figurines on her desk, the “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” figures. I asked her, “Who hands out the next body?” She didn’t know the answer. She then looked at the Gospel tract and saw the KKK symbol on a mug shot of criminals and interestingly said KKK meant brotherhood in Greek but the southern US turned it into a racial killing symbol. I thought it was interesting how that got her attention because of her Greek heritage. In the next breath, on her own, she said, “it’s not for us to say if someone should abort a baby or not.” Isn’t that an absolute truth statement of which she says doesn’t exist? I said abortion was killing much like lynchings in the Southern US. She didn’t think sin existed, just learning moments which is also a part of the Buddhist mindset. Is that what we would say to those souls being beaten? That the KKK are having a learning moment so it’s ok? I then told her about the Ten Commandments that say lying, murder and stealing was something everyone knows is absolutely wrong in their conscience. She said she would take a look at our tract more on her lunch break. I also asked if I could pray for her, so I did right then and there. Please pray for Natalie.
There was also a business man nearby before our discussion with Natalie who when I handed him a Gospel tract, he read a few lines initially seeing it was about Jesus and refused it, saying “I’m not Christian.” Then he left the building and after much hesitation in the parking lot (which we could see) he got let back into the building by a buzzer specifically so he could accept the Gospel tract! That was a move of the Spirit. Whatever his intention for coming back, God brought him back and I trust His plans. God takes the hardest heart and can soften it. Please pray for that man to be convicted further by the Holy Spirit and turn to Christ while he still has time.
